Free copy of Fallout 3 available until February for Xbox One Fallout 4 players

At E3 this year Microsoft and Bethesda announced that anybody who purchases Fallout 4 for Xbox One will be getting a free copy of Fallout 3 for Xbox 360, playable on their new console through backwards compatibility. That offer will be limited to the first three months after release, with the download code for Fallout 3 to expire on 8 February, 2016.

The full text is in the disclaimer on the Xbox Store, which explains that the game will be provided via redemption code and be playable on Xbox One from 12 November. It is the first case of backwards compatibility being used as a purchase bonus, with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition to also provide the back catalogue of Xbox 360 games later this year.
