Former Banjo Kazooie devs are working on a “spiritual successor”

While we wait for Microsoft to unveil the new Rare projects they’ve got under wraps, former Rare developers have banded together to make a “spiritual successor” to Banjo Kazooie.

Six former Rare devs have joined to create Playtonic Games, and while we don’t have a name for the game yet, we do have a codename: Project Ukulele.

Playtonic is pitching the game for a Windows PC release on Steam, and possibly a Wii U release as well.

Thanks, NeoGAF/Edge Magazine.
