Final week of Halo 5 beta brings new map and game mode

The Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta is entering its final week, adding a new map, game mode and weapons to play with. Winning a poll last week, Forge created map “Pegasus” has been added to playlists, designed to promote long range combat. The new game mode is “Strongholds”, a ‘Three Points’ style of gameplay where teams can only score points when they control two or more of three zones around the map. Rocket launchers also make their Halo 5 beta debut.

The Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta is available to owners of Halo: The Master Chief Collection until 19 January.
