Final Fantasy XV: Platinum Demo ends in March; raised level cap, Chapter 13 fix coming soon

A recent Final Fantasy XV broadcast has shed light on a number of updates heading to the popular RPG.

First, Director Hajime Tabata confirmed that the game’s revised thirteenth chapter will be distributed alongside the “Episode Gladiolus” content on 28 March.

The update is scheduled after the game’s “Booster Pack” DLC (aka the Power Rangers DLC), which lands on 21 February. That first update will bring with it PS4 Pro support, an increased level cap of 120 and the ability to listen to music whilst riding a Chocobo.

Tabata also confirmed his team is working on an update that will let players take the Regalia off-road, but a release date has not yet been detailed for that feature.

Finally, Tabata confirmed that support for the game’s Platinum Demo will end on 31 March.

While Tabata also confirmed his team has a running copy of the game on PC, Final Fantasy XV is currently available on Xbox One and PS4 only.
