Fallout 4’s survival mode is going to be brutal

Fallout 4 data mining exercise, performed by Reddit’s ShaneD53, has shed light on a bunch of the game’s upcoming survival mode.

Autosaves and manual saves will be disabled in the punishing new mode; only a bed will provide the ability to save in it. Moreover, different beds will allows for a set number of sleep each.

Fast travel has been disabled altogether, meaning you’ll have to walk everywhere and deal with whatever’s along the way.

Ammo will have weight applied, enemies will be tougher to kill, and thankfully, you’ll have the Adrenaline perk activated at all times to deal a little more damage yourself.

On the health front, limb injuries will require a Stimpack and keep eating and drinking to keep SPECIAL stats high and fatigue at bay.

Bethesda has yet to confirm details of survival mode.
