ESRB reveals The Witcher 3 is full of graphic violence and sex

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been rated by the ESRB and found to feature intense violence, strong sexual content, nudity and strong language.

I can’t wait to see what our notoriously strict OFLC will do with the game though based on precedent it is unlikely the game is refused classification, an R18+ rating is most likely. The descriptive text on the ESRB website is a fun read but contains very mild spoilers for those who wish to remain in the dark about quests and scenes in The Witcher 3 (no story spoilers).

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt arrives 19 May for PS4, Xbox One and PC. You can read our preview here.
