Recap: Hi-Rez Mid-Year SMITE, Paladins Finals

The dust has settled and champions have emerged from Hi-Rez’s Mid-Year SMITE and Paladins Finals.

First, in the SMITE OPL Split 2 Finals, Legacy Esports reigned supreme, besting favourites the LG Dire Wolves 3-1. Legacy beat out Kanga Esports on the way through. The LG Dire Wolves beat out Dark Sided for a spot in the finals.

To secure its third place finish, Dark Sided bested Kanga 2-1.

Moving onto the Paladins Path to Dreamhack Finalsreigning OCE champions Kanga Esports solidified their dominance, besting the Kings 4-1. Kanga Esports will now take part in an 8-team Paladins tournament, looking to secure their first international trophy.
