The Division: All Perks, explained

The Division is now available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4, so we thought we’d share some early gameplay tips and tricks with you.

First up, Perks. Passive little helpers, you’ll get new Perks by upgrading your main base via story missions. Here are the Perks you can access, alongside their benefits.

Medical Wing
  • Medkits: This allows you to carry one extra medpack. There are three of these perks to unlock.
  • Protective Measures: Increases virus protection (aka Filter level) by one point. There are three of these perks to unlock.
  • Canned Food: Increases the duration of the Canned Food effect duration. This increases healing effects.
  • Supplier: Lets you collect canned food, etc once per hour via restock creates in the Medical Wing.
  • Contamination Intel: Reveals all contaminated areas on a map.
  • Hazardous Materials: Increases Dark Zone inventory by one slot.
  • Rigger: Collects fabrics from the Medical Wing once per hour.
  • Credit: Increases credit gained by 10%.
  • Talents: Provides one extra Talents slot.
Technology Wing
  • Inventory: Increases inventory by 10 slots.
  • Hazardous Materials: Increases Dark Zone inventory by one slot.
  • Division Tech Materials: Converts Division tech crafting materials into other materials at a crafting station.
  • Engineer: Collects electronics once per hour from the Technology Wing.
  • Soda: Increases Soda consumable effect by ten seconds. This reduces cooldown time.
  • Water: Increases Water consumable effect by ten seconds. This increases damage dealt.
  • Craftsman: Collects tools in the Technology Wing once per hours.
  • Energy Bar: Increases Energy Bar effect five seconds. This clears negative status effects.
  • Resource Assessment: Reveals Divison Tech on the map.
  • Stat Switch: Unlocks item status switching, essentially respeccing.
  • Dark Zone Funds: Increases Dark Zone Funds gained by 10%.
  • Stash: Increase stash slots by ten.
Security Wing
  • Experienced Agent: This provides a 10% increase to all XP gained.
  • Grenades: Adds one grenade to inventory slot.
  • Advanced Weaponry: Unlocks advanced weapons vendor.
  • Combat Veteran: Increases XP gained from accolades by 25%.
  • Hazardous Materials: Increases Dark Zone inventory by one slot.
  • Black Market Vendor: Unlocks Dark Zone Fund purchases in your main base.
  • Clothes Vendor: Unlocks clothes vendor in your base.
  • Explosive Bullets: Increases explosive bullet duration by ten seconds.
  • Gunsmith: Collect Weapon Parts from the Security Wing once per hours.
  • Scavenger: Collect items from the Security Wing once per hours.
  • Incendiary Bullets: Increases bullet duration by ten seconds.
  • Special Ammo: Collect special ammo from the Security Wing once per hour.
  • Shooting Range: Increase marksmanship by training.
  • Intel Discovery: Reveals all Intel on a map.
  • Collector: Increases scavenging by 15%.
