Apparently not everything that’s available in Super Mario Maker has been unlocked or perhaps it’s being held back to be used as DLC (or AOC in Nintendo speak).
Twitter user NWPlayer123 has been busy data mining the title and has discovered Super Mario Bros. 3‘s Angry Sun, Bullet Bills without launchers and the Goomba Shoe in New Super Mario Bros. mode.

While this seems to point towards DLC it may also simply be leftover data from ideas that were cut.
Super Mario Maker is available exclusively for Wii U.
