Destiny 2’s Clan system is now live across Xbox One and PS4

Destiny 2‘s Clan system is now live across Xbox One and PS4, Bungie today advised.

As per a lengthy post, players can login to Bungie.net to check their affiliation. Guardians can choose one Clan per console from today.

Any Destiny 2 group has the ability to become a Destiny 2 Clan — to do so, the group’s founder must elevate it to Clan status. Founders have until 23 August to decide to elevate their old group to a new Clan.

Announced in May, Clans are essentially groups that you can join to play Destiny 2 together. They’ve progression and rewards attached to them, alongside a number of other tools to build fireteams for Strikes and Raids. Solo players can also use Guided Games to find Clans to join up with and play.

Those looking for a new Clan can browse through popular ones here.

Destiny 2 heads to Xbox One and PS4 on 6 September. A Windows PC release follows on 24 October.
