Sony has announced that it is launching custom, coloured faceplates for the PS4.
The faceplates launch next month and will be available in four colours initially; Neon Orange, Aqua Blue, Red and Glacier White. We’re not sure why Red only gets a pleb name, maybe Sony has something against it.
Gold and Silver faceplates will be released at a later date.
To use a custom faceplate, PS4 owners simply need to remove the HDD bay cover and click the new one in place.
The first four colours will launch on 19 November. No pricing has been announced at this time.
