“Cliffs and Caves” multiplayer map pack DLC announced for Tomb Raider, coming to Xbox Live first

Announced today – via the Tomb Raider tumblr – is the “Cliffs and Caves” multiplayer map pack DLC for Tomb Raider. The DLC will be a timed exclusive for Xbox Live, before becoming available later on PC and PS3.

Three new maps will be added to the multiplayer and will be playable across all four game modes ( Rescue, Cry for Help, Team Deathmatch, and Free for All). The maps are;

Scavenger Caverns
An extensive subterranean network of caves used by the island’s scavengers as an underground prison

Cliff Shantytown
This scavenger settlement was built high up on the island cliffs. Its many layers hide some of the deadliest traps on the island

The Burning Village
A raging fire has embraced an abandoned Japanese village, the burning buildings offer multiple ways to escape or engage your enemies

The “Cliffs and Caves” map pack will be available from 19 March on Xbox Live for 400 MS points.  The DLC will become available for PC and PS3 at a later date.
