Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel drops this October

2K and Gearbox Software have announced today that Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be launching in October. Available first in North America 14 October and then worldwide 17 October, it’s expected to be released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 and not current-gen consoles.

In development 2K Australia, The Pre-Sequel has players working from Borderlands 2 antagonist Handsome Jack and witnessing his rise to power first hand. A pre-order bonus called “Shock Drop Slaughter Pit” pits players against a rogue military recruiter on Pandora’s moon.
