BioWare discussed bringing the Mass Effect Trilogy to PS4 and Xbox One

The prospect of bringing a remastered Mass Effect Trilogy to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has been internally discussed at BioWare said General Manager for Edmonton and Montreal Studios Aaron Flynn on Twitter.

A fan posed the question to Flynn who responded with, “We have discussed that internally. If we can put solid plans together we’ll share. Great to hear you’re keen.”

Mass Effect was released for Xbox 360 in 2007 and eventually ported to both PC and PS3. Mass Effect 2 was released for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 and the third game in the trilogy was released for those platforms and the Wii U. A bundle of all three games was eventually released for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

In November 2012 it was revealed that the next game in the franchise was in the early stages of development. No solid details of the next Mass Effect have yet to be revealed.
