Battlefield Hardline beta reveals premium subscription service planned

It looks like Battlefield Hardline will have a premium subscription service similar to that of Battlefield 4.

Videogamer.com has done some digging in the multiplayer beta and found references to ‘premium subscribers’ in the equippable item menus and ‘Expansion packs’ in loading screens.

EA have not officially announced any service but it should come as no surprise after similar offerings in Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 which worked like a “season pass” for the game with access to expansion content. We will undoubtedly get full details closer to launch.

Battlefield Hardline arrives 20 March for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC through Origin. You can check our single player preview here and multiplayer here.
