Battlefield 1: This is why you can’t quit out a match until your next round

DICE has told Battlefield 1 players it’s aware that a quit button is in high demand, but simply isn’t possible.

At the end of a match, Battlefield 1 starts loading the next map in the  background while showing stats. It’s for this reason that players have to wait for the map to load before backing out.

While it’s inconvienient for those who want to quit a match, it’s also horrible for those who start a game only to see a number of players then leave.

DICE developer SvartAnka explained on Reddit that a quit button isn’t possible, but an option “queue a quit” is being looked into.

Battlefield 1 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
