Nintendo mightn’t be bundling any first party software with Switch, but that hasn’t stopped retailers. Big W is offering either The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild or 1-2-Switch with the console, effectively saving $40 AUD on either first party game.
Vooks has the scoop, reporting a Switch console + The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will cost $519 AUD. A console + 1-2-Switch will set you back $499 AUD. With the console $469 AUD at Big W, Zelda is essentially $50 (RRP $90), while 1-2-Switch is $30 (RRP $70). However, these cheaper prices are only available as a bundle with the console, and you’ll only be able to pick one game.
Big W is no longer accepting pre-orders, so you’ll need to move fast on March 3 to snag a bundle. EB Games should price match, but it’s at the discretion of each individual store. These prices will be advertised in Big W’s next catalogue.
