We brought you the news that Defense Grid: The Awakening was your free Game with Gold for the first half of July. We can now announce that Assassin’s Creed II will be your free game for the latter half of the month.
Xbox Wire broke the news earlier today and confirmed that AC2 would be available to all Xbox Live Gold members for free from 16-31 July. AC2 will replace Defense Grid which you can currently download for the low low price of nothing (as long as you’re a Gold member).
Assassin’s Creed II and Halo 3 were two of the titles mentioned during Microsoft’s E3 press conference when announcing the Games with Gold program.
