Assassin’s Creed executive producer Jade Raymond starting new EA studio to work on Star Wars

Jade Raymond, the Executive Producer on the Assassin’s Creed series at Ubisoft who left the company in late 2014, has announced her landing spot: Motive Studios, a new studio under the Electronic Arts umbrella.

Far more exciting is what Motive Studios is working on, EA’s untitled Star Wars project with Uncharted creative director Amy Hennig, who recently joined Visceral Studios. Raymond will now oversee Visceral Studios alongside Motive.

This new Star Wars project is setting up to be something truly special, with the open world prowess of Raymond and the writing and directing chops of Hennig. You can read the full announcement at the Motive Studios site.
