Aliens: Colonial Marines DLC infesting games starting March

Sega has announced that Aliens: Colonial Marines (which broke street date over the weekend) will be receiving four packs of DLC beginning with “Bug Hunt” in March. Essentially a co-operative horde mode, “Bug Hunt” has players taking down waves of Xenomorphs across three brand new maps. The subsequent three DLC packs will be a mix of single and multiplayer, adding campaign content and additional multiplayer elements. All four packs will be available by the end of August.

Each pack will be available individually and for owners of the season pass. Sega has confirmed that purchasing the season pass will offer savings of almost 40% over buying the packs separately.  Season passes are available on Steam right now and will appear on PS3 and Xbox 360 some time soon.

Officially Aliens: Colonial Marines will be available for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on 12 February (tomorrow), however the game has broken street date so you should be able to pick it up right now if you’re so inclined. We still have no date available for the Wii U release.
