Activision: Work is underway on a sequel to Destiny

During an earnings call today, Activision’s CEO Eric Hirshberg confirmed that a sequel to Destiny is in the works.

“Work has also begun on future expansion packs as well as on our next full game release,” Hirshberg said during the call. “We’re very pleased with the launch and continuing engagement.”

Considering Destiny has over 9.5 million registered users, this news shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Destiny‘s first DLC pack drops in early December.
