As part of their Nintendo Direct, the publisher today confirmed that 200cc racing will be available in Mario Kart 8.
The super-fast racing mode will be available from 23 April as part of a free software update.
At the same presentation, new DLC was also announced for the game, including an Animal Crossing-themed track that will change seasons whenever you race on it.
