Red Dead Redemption finally heads to Xbox One backwards compatibility

Microsoft has finally confirmed that Red Dead Redemption will join the Xbox One backwards compatibility program.

Aussies should be able to play the Xbox 360 game on their current-gen consoles from this weekend.

The game was briefly playable on Xbox One back in February, but Microsoft took quick action to nerf cloud saves, rendering it useless.

Those that own the game digitally will find it under the Xbox One’s My Games & Apps section, while those with a disc need to simply insert it to begin the download process.
