The internet has gone crazy of late, with many believing that 2B, the female-identifying android of NieR Automata, has an in-game, fully-rendered butthole.
The saga began when Twitter user @solebrotherkab took to the social media platform with a photoshopped, NSFW image. You can see that below.

Users took to that Twitter thread, alongside Reddit, to discuss the image, and whether or not it is real. Spoilers: it’s not. Even then, the next image is still pretty NSFW, depending on your place of employment.

Even NieR‘s Director, Yoko Taro, got in on the hijinks.
“Because of the brouhaha over 2B’s butt, there are loads of rude drawings and whatnot being uploaded [online],” Taro tweeted, as translated by Kotaku. “And since going around and collecting them is a pain, I’d like it if I could get them sent in a zip file every week.”
2Bのお尻騒動でケシカラン感じの絵とか沢山アップされてるけど集めて回るの面倒だから zip にして毎週届けて欲しい。

Ask and ye shall receive, Taro. We’ll let adventurous readers wade through that Twitter thread themselves.
