Windows 10 PCs will get a Halo app alongside Halo 5: Forge next month

Halo Waypoint has today given Windows PC gamers a better look at the upcoming Halo app on Windows 10.

A separate download from the Halo 5: Forge creation tool — also debuting as a free download on 8 September in the Windows Store — the Halo app works as a portal to the franchise.

“The Halo app will be the quickest and easiest way to find, download, and launch all Halo games that are available on Windows PCs,” the post reads. “It will also be a great way to get the latest news, videos, tutorials, featured content, update notes and more from the Halo universe on your PC. Our vision is for the Halo app to become the best way for our fans to get the latest information and details about all of our games, both past, present, and future.”

You can find out more about the app here.
