The Nintendo Switch’s battery isn’t replaceable

New paperwork filed with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) revealed that the Nintendo Switch will not have a replaceable battery,

The battery inside the hybrid home-portable console will not be upgradable, unlike the Wii U Gamepad. Nintendo’s current console sports a battery that can be swapped out for a larger, more efficient one, boosting lifespan by 266%.

We’ll find out more of the Switch in mid-January.
