GOG Connect will convert your Steam library into a DRM-free one

GOG.com today announced GOG Connect, a service that will permanently import your Steam library of games into one of DRM-free titles.

If it sounds a bit too good to be true, you’re not wrong — the service currently supports only a handful of games. Big name titles include The Witcher, Trine, FTL, The Witness, Braid and a couple more.

Steam cloud saves and achievements will not carry over in the import.

For more information, or to check out eligible games, head over to GOG Connect.
