Ubisoft acquires studio behind DJ Hero, Guitar Hero Live

Ubisoft has acquired FreeStyleGames, the team behind Activision Blizzard’s DJ Hero and Guitar Hero Live.

Under Ubisoft, the studio’s new name is Ubisoft Leamington.

The publisher has confirmed that Ubisoft Leamington will “work in close collaboration with [Ubisoft] Reflections and Ubisoft’s other International studios to develop AAA games.”

FreeStyleGames was founded in 2002.
