Nintendo Switch pricing: Target says $300, Walmart $400 USD

US-based retail chains Target and Walmart are listing placeholders for the upcoming Nintendo Switch, and rabid fans are already wildly speculating at what it all could mean.

Target’s placeholder, first spotted by Twitter’s Wario64, has just been set at $299.99 USD, with an additional fifteen game placeholders starting at $59.99 USD.

Meanwhile, a Walmart employee has posted a Switch price tag listed at $399 USD, which leads many to believe that a range of Switch SKUs — likely, differentiated by internal storage capacity — will be offered.

Nintendo, of course, hasn’t commented on either report. We only have to wait a day to see if these rumours prove true — Nintendo’s Switch livestream kicks off at 3.00 pm AEDT tomorrow. Head here to see what we expect from the reveal.
