Pokémon Go: Players have walked 8.7 billion kilometres and caught 88 million Pokémon

Pokémon Go developer Niantic has recently taken to its blog to declare that trainers have walked more than 8.7 billion kilometres and caught over 88 million Pokémon since launch.

On average, Trainers have caught 533 million Pokémon each day.
