Zelda: Breath of the Wild likely to miss the Nintendo Switch’s March 2017 launch

Multiple reports suggest that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will not be ready in time for the launch of the Nintendo Switch in March 2017.

Emily Rogers, a proven Nintendo reporter, first led the charge. Her sources say that, “localization for Breath of the Wild might not be finished until the end of December. After localization is completed, this game will require between (at least) four-to-six months of testing.”

Eurogamer then followed suit, alleging that “localization for the game was becoming more work than anyone had anticipated.”

Nintendo has yet to comment on the reports.

We’ll keep you posted. Breath of the Wild is planned for both Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
