The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild classified M for Mature in Australia

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has received an M for Mature classification in Australia.

The Australian Classification Board made the classification yesterday, adding Breath of the Wild to the fairly short list of Zelda games to receive the classification.

Other M classified titles in the series include The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and Majora’s Mask. Most other titles in the series have been classified as PG.

Breath of the Wild has been classified M due to mild impact themes and moderate impact violence.

Look for Breath of the Wild on both Wii U and the Nintendo Switch, sometime next year. We previewed the title at last E3.
