Once again EB Games website is experiencing problems thanks to massive interest in the NES Classic Edition.
Yesterday EB Games posted on Facebook and Twitter that they had increased their server capacity from 30,000 simultaneous users to 60,000 in preparation for the second batch of preorders of the mini NES which was to commence at 12:00pm today.
Ten minutes before the flood gates opened they advised customers not to log in using their EB Games profiles and instead to check out as a guest.
UPDATE: Please do not attempt to log in to your EB World profile, please check out as a guest.

Comments on their Facebook profile show that many are able to add the console to their shopping carts but when asked to enter their details they’re re-directed to an error page telling them not to fret. Users were then finding their cart is empty potentially missing out on the coverted piece of nostalgia.
Have you managed to score a Classic NES in today’s preorder frenzy?
Update: All gone.
MINI NES CONSOLE UPDATE:
