No Man’s Sky is basically a grown-up’s version of Minecraft. To succeed, you’re going to need to craft.

Here are common recipes alongside tips on where to find their components.

Carite Sheet

  • Iron (found on most planets — look for a yellow indicator on your scanner)

Microdensity Fabric

  • Platinum (found on most planets — look for a blue indicator)
  • Iron (found on most planets — look for a yellow indicator on your scanner)

Bypass Chip

  • Plutonium (found on most planets — look for a red indicator)
  • Iron (found on most planets — look for a yellow indicator on your scanner)

Electron Vapour

  • Suspension Fluid (can be purchased at Space Station trade terminals)
  • Plutonium (found on most planets — look for a red indicator)

Antimatter

  • Electron Vapour (see recipe above)
  • Heridium (can be found on planets — look for big blue pillars; can also be purchased from most traders)
  • Zinc (can be found on most planets — look for a yellow indicator)

Warp Cell

  • Thamium9 (found by shooting asteroids at the system level)
  • Antimatter (see recipe above)
