Overwatch: The Car Wash Achievement Guide

Our next Overwatch Achievement guide deals with its “The Car Wash” Achievement.

Its description: “Hit an enemy with 7 beams simultaneously as Symmetra in Quick or Competitive Play.”

Here’s what to do:

  1. We unlocked this on Watchpoint: Gibraltar in defender Escort mode (as we do with most Achievements). The payload is in a nice, contained area at the beginning and end of the fight; it seems to take forever.
  2. Symmetra begins a match with the ability to place three turrets with her LB ability. Over time, her cool down will allow for a fourth, then fifth, and so on. She’ll only be able to play six turrets at one time… so the seventh one you try to place will replace your first.
  3. Try to put all of your turrets in a grouped, yet hidden space. I placed mine on the opposite side of a doorway, so incoming enemies wouldn’t see them until its too late.
  4. Once you’ve placed your turrets, it’s a game of luck — a lucky rocket could take them all out super quickly. Play the game as normal, assisting teammates and going for additional kills. Hope for the best.
  5. The Achievement will unlock when an enemy is simply hit by all seven turrets. Kills aren’t important, but they are better, of course.
  6. When your beams target someone, use your pistol as the seventh beam.

The Achievement will unlock when an enemy is simply hit by all six turrets plus your weapon. Kills aren’t important, but they are better, of course.

Voila! Here’s how it all looks, keeping in mind we made the video using XboxDVR.com, so the Achievement doesn’t actually pop on-screen.
