Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst: Faith’s abilities will be locked behind a skill tree

Eurogamer today reports that Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst will use a skill tree to unlock Faith’s parkour abilities.

Unlike the original game, players will have to earn XP to unlock new items in the free. XP is earned by completing side missions, finding Gridleaks and completing the main game.

Levelling up will unlock an upgrade point, and those points can be spent in one of three areas: combat, gear and movement.

We’ll have more on Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst as it becomes available.
