The Naughty Dog-signed 20th Anniversary PS4 is finally up for auction

Sony Australia is today auctioning a super rare 20th anniversary PS4 signed by what the publisher considers “the top ‘dogs’ of critically acclaimed software developer, Naughty Dog.” The auction will aid You Can, Sony Foundation’s youth cancer cause.

Gamers can bid on the limited edition console on eBay from 2.00pm AEDT on Friday, 18 March. The auction closes at 2.00pm AEDT on Wednesday, 23 March.

The console has been signed by Christophe Balestra, Evan Wells, Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley, all of Naughty Dog, developers of the upcoming Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

“Alongside our partner PlayStation Australia, we are pleased to auction this unique item to help build much-needed youth cancer centres,” said Sophie Ryan, CEO, Sony Foundation Australia. “Sadly too many young Australians with cancer are falling through the gaps of our medical system. We are working to change this and improve survival rates with care for 16 to 25 year olds.”

“Naughty Dog as a studio is truly admired by everyone in the gaming industry and we are pleased to partner with them to create this unique auction,” added Michael Ephraim, Managing Director Sony Computer Entertainment Australia. “We hope players get involved and bid on this priceless console for a truly great cause.”

Good luck to those who bid.
