Australian Classification Board rates Dead Island: Retro Revenge

The Australian Classification Board recently classified a mysterious game titled Dead Island: Retro Revenge.

Classified 11 February, Retro Revenge is rated M for “Bloody violence” and “online interactivity”. Empty Clip Studios is listed as the developer with Koch Media publishing. Empty Clip Studios is based in San Diego and has developed the WiiWare title Groovin’ BlocksSymphony for Windows and Glow for iPhone.

It’s unknown what exactly Retro Revenge is but it’s unlikely to be Dead Island 2. Last year Deep Silver dumped Yager as developer of the sequel with Techland (developer of the original Dead Island) then suggesting that it could take over development.

We’ll bring you more Dead Island news as we have it.
