Electronics retailer Dick Smith went into voluntary administration earlier in the week, and part of that move meant it would no longer honour gift cards. That kind of sucks if you still had one — or worse yet, got one for Christmas.
Enter Kogan to the rescue.
The online retailer has offered to swap out Dick Smith gift cards with a $25 AUD Kogan voucher. Sure, trading in a $500 AUD Dick Smith gift card might sting a little, but anything you can get back surely is a good thing, right?
