The Division’s beta delayed until 2016, alpha live on Xbox One this week

Ubisoft took to its blog today to announce that Tom Clancy’s The Division‘s beta will be delayed until 2016. The same announcement confirmed that an alpha on Xbox One will continue as planned later this week.

“This exclusive Xbox One alpha testing phase in December will be the first time the public gets to play a version of The Division that includes more than the Dark Zone PvP enabled areas,” Ubisoft said.

“This means the moment you and other players sign into the game, you’ll be giving us valuable insight into how our infrastructure performs under pressure that we can’t replicate internally or at a tradeshow. This process allows us to monitor and gather additional feedback on other aspects of The Division, as well.”

The alpha starts on 9 December from 8.00 pm AEDT, and runs until 12 December at 7.00 AEDT. Access will be given to those who pre-ordered The Division on Xbox One.
