The Australian Classification Board has classified a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. The title has been revealed as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan and is in development at Platinum Games.
Platinum has been very busy of late, having just completed work on Transformers: Devastation for Activision and working on thee separate platform exclusive; Star Fox: Zero, NieR: Automata and Scalebound.
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANTS IN MANHATTAN,
Rating: M,
Author: PLATINUM GAMES,
Publisher: @Activision— AusVGClassifications (@AusVGClass) November 30, 2015
The most recent title in the franchise was 2014’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Danger of the Ooze. Developed by WarForward, it received poor reviews and was used to bridge the gap between seasons 2 and 3 of the Nickelodeon animated series.
It’s unknown at this stage what iteration of TMNT this title will be based on, but if Transformers: Devastation is any indication, we could be in for another blast of 80’s nostalgia.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan will be available for PC, PS4, Xbox One and last-gen consoles.
