EA took to its blog today to announce a new Competitive Gaming Division (GCD) headed by Peter Moore.
“As the latest step in our journey to put our players first, this group will enable global Esports competitions in our biggest franchises including FIFA, Madden NFL, Battlefield and more,” EA’s Andrew Wilson wrote.
The GCD’s three core pillars are competition, community and entertainment. No initiatives have yet been named as a result of the group’s formation, but we’ll keep you up to date.
