EA expects to sell 13 million copies of Star Wars: Battlefront by end of fiscal year

The COO of EA Peter Moore confirmed yesterday that the company aimed to sell 13 million units of Star Wars: Battlefront by the end of this financial year.

Speaking at the Credit Suisse Technology Media and Telecom Broker Conference on Wednesday, Moore stated that EA could see no weakness in the title yet despite some negative feedback and that they expect to hit the target.

Moore also mentioned that EA is expecting between 52 and 53 million PS4’s and Xbox One’s combined to be sold to customers by the end of 2015, a staggeringly large number.
