Zelda Wii U scheduled for 2016, will support amiibo figurines

During its Nintendo Direct today, the publisher confirmed that Zelda on Wii U will be available next year.

Moreover, Nintendo confirmed that the game will have amiibo support, specificially with the Wolf Link amiibo that will be sold with the HD remaster of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

A specific release date was not named.
