Rocket League takes a snow day this December

Rocket League continues its themed DLC with the “Winter Games” event beginning 14 December. The highlight will be a new game mode, replacing the current “Mutator Mashup” playlist with an ice hockey-themed mode with ice rink field and puck-shaped “ball”.

The free DLC event will run until 4 January, during which time you can unlock a variety of Christmas themed trails, toppers and antennas just by playing the game, similar to the recent Halloween event. You can find more information over at the Playstation Blog, though this update applies to both the PS4 and PC versions of the game.

Rocket League is out now for PS4 and PC. You can find out more about their upcoming “Chaos Run” paid DLC here, and read our review here.
