Need for Speed’s first patch aims to fix erratic AI catch up

Need for Speed’s first big patch is inbound and is bringing with it a fix for the Fast and the Furious AI.

Since the games release two weeks ago players have been complaining of AI cars overtaking them despite the player doing top speed. Ghost Games have taken that feedback on board and are pushing a fix for the AI catch up to make it “more balanced”.

The patch will also bring the first taste of neons, improved mirrors and a few other game fixes. The full list of changes, and some context, can be found here.
