Community strategist for Naughty Dog Arne Meyer has told Finder he expects the studio to develop “one, maybe two” more titles for the current generation of consoles after Uncharted 4.
As this console generation enters its third year and Naughty Dog readies their first true current gen game with Uncharted 4, the statement could either mean Naughty Dog thinks the generation is nearing halfway done, or that it could last up to ten years like the last did. With the success of the PS4 this generation doesn’t seem to be going anywhere for a while yet, and despite what the community strategist says I feel confident saying that Naughty Dog will continue to develop titles for this generation for as long as it is relevant.
