343 Industries outlines plans to increase control scheme customisation

In a massive community update for Halo 5: Guardians, 343 Industries has outlined plans to fix a rare aiming bug affecting some players, announced the return of Big Team Battle and updated various playlists, including removing the bugged map Orion until further notice.

343 digs deep into the technical details of the ‘slow turn’ bug, which is interesting reading for those who have an interest in the mechanics of first person shooter controls. It is also mentioned that more fine tuning of controls will be possible in future updates, such as independent sensitivities for the horizontal and vertical axis and to define custom deadzones. 343 hopes to have this control update out in December. You can read the full update over at Halo Waypoint.

Halo 5: Guardians is out now, exclusive to Xbox One. You can read our review here.
