The new expansion for Elite: Dangerous — “Horizons” — will allow players to (among other things) land on planets and explore.
New vehicle class, SRV (Surface Recon Vehicles) are used to explore the planets and they’re a mite smaller than the ships players have become accustomed to. In an hour long livestream (below) Frontier Developments shows off the SRVs, planetary landings and more that will be added to the base game with “Horizons”.
Elite: Dangerous’ “Horizons” will be available this holiday season on Xbox One and PC.
