Halo 5 multiplayer playlists revealed

Halo 5: Guardians will have eight multiplayer playlists at launch, with IGN listing all available maps and modes for each playlist. One playlist is a weekend exclusive social mode where more of the fun game modes Halo is known for will be available, while others mix up some of the traditional Halo multiplayer modes and the new additions for Guardians.

Notably Big Team Battle is absent, to make its debut sometime after launch. In its place is the showpiece Warzone mode, which will allow you to join matches in progress due to the lengthy battles possible in this MOBA style game type. Slayer, Team Slayer, Free for All and SWAT make their returns while the Counter Strike inspired Breakout mode, a hit in the beta earlier this year, also gets a run.

Halo 5: Guardians arrives exclusively for Xbox One 27 October.
